Fireplace blower motor

Hello,

My wood burning fireplace blower motor seems to be broken. Who do you typically call to get this repaired or replaced? Any idea (ball park) of what such job would cost? I need this replaced as a post home inspection item on my house (i.e. even if I could do it myself, I can't, it has to be someone licensed).

Thanks,

Alex

If it is just a motor you should be able to just replace it. A store that sells fireplaces should be able to do it or an electrician. Cost will depend on the part but I would suspect some where around $400 for labor depending how tough it is to get out.
