Ignition Control Bad?

My automatic gas fireplace just quit. Looking close, the pilot lights for 1-2 seconds then all shuts down. Looking closer, with a voltmeter, I get no voltage from the terminals on the Honeywell S8600H ignition control. Also no voltage at the M & C terminals on the gas valve. Is my ignition control bad, even tho the pilot lites?

Thanks in advance.

Update: I isolated the transformer and am getting 24VAC, so that's OK. Igniter is sparking. Would appreciate any help from here.

Could be defective ignition module although there are several small issues that could cause the module to appear defective. I left you a link to the tech service manual and troubleshooting info for your module. Your ignition module should also have diagnostic lights on it and page 20 goes into depth.

Smile All fixed

Thanks for the info on the status light. It showed a controller fault. Replaced the controller and all is well.
