Asbestos Fireplace Question

Hi there, just have a question about asbestos in a fireplace. I live in an old house with a fireplace that is quite old. There is containment unit with some embers/firelogs inside it. However there are gaps in containment unit and there is dust inside as far as i can see through looking through the glass. Is there risk for asbestos exposure, especially since fire logs/embers were made of asbestos in the past.

Below is a gallery to give you jist of the problem.

Thanking you greatly for any advice/help

You can test any material that is bothering you by collecting a small sample and mailing it to the testing company of your choice.

If there is a brand name anywhere on the thing you could research that.

Hiring a professional to examine is also possible.

Talk to the people at a local wood stove place, they might know about the things in your area.
