Can I vent a pellet insert through existing LP insert liner?

Hello all,

I currently have a gas fireplace insert in my masonry fireplace. I am playing around with the idea of replacing it with a pellet stove insert but I don't really want to deal with replacing the liner. The current liner (used for the gas fireplace) appears to be 3" or 4" aluminum flex pipe (one for intake, one for exhaust). These run to the top of the chimney. Is this liner adequate for pellet stove application or do I need something a bit more rugged like stainless steal?

Thank you for your input.

You best off looking at the manufacture of the pellet stove and install what they recommend...

But Im pretty sure they all use...UL Listed Pell Vent ONLY

SuperVent: PL Pellet Pipe
