I need help on how to repair a small fleible cappilary line to a thermostat

I cut a 0.125 flexible capillary line for a thermostat on my grain bin. The repair part is nearly $800 because it is all one unit. There has to be a way to rejoin these two ends for a whole lot less? Does anybody have a solution@

Welcome to the forums.

You cannot repair a cap tube. The thermostat is setup to work as a sealed system. Once the sealed part is breached it will no longer track temperature.

There are hundreds of thermostats available as replacements. I can help you find one if you give me some information on yours. A picture would help too.
