Can I remove flue ?

I live in a mobile home that has a central heating/air conditioning unit installed in a closet, all electric. directly on top of this unit is some type of flue /vent. it is not connected to anything as far as I can tell and I none of my appliances uses gas/fuel, its all electric. can I remove this flue? its a source for air entry and I don't want it.

Welcome to the forums.

As long as nothing is connected to it there should be no reason why it can't be removed or capped off.

I assume the MH used to have a gas furnace ??
It's not a big deal to remove it but you do need to be diligent when covering the hole so it doesn't leak. I'd cut a piece of sheet metal a few inches larger than the hole, apply a bead or two of caulk around the hole [under the sheet metal] screw it down and then tar over the perimeter.
