Anyone ever tried one of these jel-fuel fireplaces?
This is from the Sears website--are they cheesy? Looks pretty cool, especially for the price.

I brought mine from Spigel 4 years ago they really work for the real fire effect and it looks real. I get a lot of compliments. The only problem was it was not big enough for the space I placed it. I had to build a platform and put a marble base around it to make it more impressive. My unit was made of a nice quality wood.
So my opinion is if you do not want a big expense of putting in a real firplace this is the best substitute I have seen.
