stained sub floor

Some of the sub floor is stained at the front wall where the master bedroom meets the two story portion of the house. How can I repair?

I must be confused. Why would you want to fix it. Sub flooring gets covered up with the real floor.

Why are you even able to see the sub flooring. It is covered up, or should be by the flooring ?

Subfloor is generally plywood, although alot of track homes are now being built using osb for subfloors, this is usually 1 or 2 layers over which goes the finished floor covering, ........tile, hardwood planks, rug (carpet), etc.

I gonna merge your two post in this forum Kelli, as they are kind of the same question & Jack, myself & probably others are still wondering why the concern over the subflooring?
