loose boards in hardwood floor

l have a hardwood floor that has some boards that seem to be loose on the ends and they bounce an creak. how do l resolve this problem

Hi and welcome aboard.

You can nail down the board ends, use a rib shank finish nail, countersink the nails with a nail set, (or if you don't have one, you can use a 12 or16 penny nail with the tip blunted.) Fill the nail heads with wood putty, try to match the color to the existinf floor finish.
