Sub Floor seams

We installed a 3/4" plywood sub floor (192 sp.ft). There are two separate small areas where the seams are knotched up maybe a 1/4". What would be the best way to smooth out without having to lay another layer of plywood. We were planning on putting down vinyl tile. I suggested a palm sander. Otherwise the floor looks great.
Thanks for the help.

Go ahead and sand it down. I'm guessing your are planning on laying a 1/4 wood underlayment, luan, 1/4" sanded birch etc, over the subfloor anyway (normal with vinyl) so you won't have any problems and your floor will be glass smooth that way since any imperfections in the floor will telegraph through the soft and conforming vinyl showing through your completed project.
