Jack studs above headers for uplift?

Are jack studs required/recommended above headers as well as below, to better carry uplift loads? The uplift loads in my area (right outside the 110mph zone, but I'm overdesigning to 110mph anyway) are practically as high as the gravity loads. (447lbs/truss end in my case) So it seems like it would be good engineering practice to jackstud & strap the top to better distribute the load, but I don't recall ever seeing this.

Header top

Above the header you put cripples. One every 16". From the top of the header to the bottom of the sill plate. Jack Studs stop at the bottom of the header. Good Luck
