Can I use thinset instaed of fix-it-all

I am not sure what is it, me been anal or lazy, but itís something. I donít have any fix it all at home to fill all the gaps I left between the sheets of T&G after partially replacing my bedroom subfloor. I have plenty of thinset mortar, can/should I use it instead?
By the way, did someone see my previous post? :

I don't recommend using thinset to fill gaps in plywood. get more fix-all.
