cost for framing a basement

I would like to have my basement finished. I am unsure of the cost to have someone frame the walls up. I plan to hang the drywall to save some money and have someone mudd and tape it. What would to cost be apprx. for 25Ft by 15ft with 8foot ceilings. There are no major obstacles along the wall except the service box and water line.

It depends on what part of the country you live in. Costs vary from region to region. I would contact several contractors to see what they would do the job for. Getting bids is what it is all about.

You did not say where you lived, but I have a rough estimate for you and I have increased it a little so it should be pretty good throughout the country. Materials approx $600.00.
Labor anywhere from $800 to $1200. Labor depends on the area. If the basement is completely empty, this would be a 2 day or 1 1/2 day job. Myself and two of my guys could do it in one long day. If there are things in the basement, they get in the way, and slow progress. The labor will also depend on the following. How easy is it to get the materials in the basement ?
Can the lumber be sawed in the basement ? These two items alone can vary your labor alot. Hope this helps.
