Question subfloor material

I am replacing the wood plank 2nd floor subfloor as part of my remodel project. I will be tiling over the subfloor, and installing bathroom fixtures. I am thinking about using 3/4 in tongue and groove, followed by hardibacker. Is this the best way to go? any better ideas? Should I use osb or plywood?
Thanks !

Subfloor

Before you make a decision, look at Advantec.
