ro for slider

the r.o is supposed to be 72 x 80 will it be fine if it is 72 x 80 7/8?

I would either add 1/2" plywood or OSB to two sides... or 3/4 lumber to one side... in order to make the width of the opening closer to 80". If the window has a nailing fin, it will have nothing to nail to otherwise.

Measure the opening diagonally as well as level at the header.
If the opening is square and the header level, add 1/2" the the bottom of the header, and it is not uncommon for the installation instruction to call for or recommend that the door frame header section be slightly crowned in the center.

I agree with the other posts, but in looking at the dimensions, I believe this is a sliding door, not a window. I may be wrong.
Anyway, the height of 80 7/8" is not a problem, although a tighter fit will be accomplished if you strip the bottom of the header with a piece of 1/2" plywood to take up a little of the space.
