Texas (HOUSTON) source for 2x12x26 beams?...

I am building a porch (14x26w) over an existing concrete patio and need a beam to span the width (26'). The beam will be exposed to the elements I will need pressure treated wood.

I am having a problem locating anything over 24'. Does anyone have a source for oversized lumber that will sell to an individual homeowner?

Thanks
Rob

Rob,

Any lumberyard should be able to get you a treated gluelam at 24'.

They're called, "Rosboro Treated Gluelams". I used two of them 3-1/2" x 11-7/8" last winter. I think they were 26'.
