Notching end of 2x10 floor joist

I am going to be installing the new floor joist in my kitchen hopefully this weekend. I had to upsize a few of the joists from 2x8 to 2x10 to get the clearances I need to pass drain pipe through. On one end of the joist I am butting up against an original 8" square beam that rests on the foundation. Is it permissable to notch the bottom of the 2x10 to sit in a 2x8 simpson strong tie? It is within max end notching guidelines.

It is not a problem, as long as you stay within the notching guidelines. Good Luck
