Another squeaky floor question

My house was built in 1987. The 2nd floor subfloor is particle board. I am getting to ready to replace the carpet so I have easy access. I have tried screwing the particle board to the joists with no luck, the squeaks are still there. The particle board sheet where most of the squeaks are coming from is next to/under one of the walls. I have thought about pulling the particle board up and replacing it and making sure it is properly installed with glue, etc. Is there anything I need to keep in mind when doing this repair? I also read in a another post that someone said you shouldn't replace the particle board but rather use a new product called Advantech?

Thanks in advance.
