Replacing subfloor tomorrow!!

1. I am going to replace living room subfloor with 3/4 T&G plywood. I have the kind with a water repellent on one side. Which side should be face up?

2. Do I need to cut the subfloor perfectly flush with rest of walls?

3. Should the T&G edge be perpendicular or parallel to the joists?

4. I have screws for subflooring that are 1 3/4. Is that acceptable?

5. Do all edges of the new subfloor need to line up with center of joists. Can there be any overhang?

Thanks so much for the information!!

1 repellant side up
2 yes
3 perpendicular
4 if you have joists underneath, I'd go longer
5 line up with the center, no overhang
