How to hide framing?

Hi!!

I'm looking for some suggestions. I have just framed up a covered patio area near our swimming pool. I installed a 1/2 round window in the gable end purely for aesthetic purposes. It's looks great!! However, I can see the exposed framing behind the window when I'm sitting near the pool. I would like to hide this somehow. Does anybody have any suggestions? My one thought was to put some landscape fabric directly behind the window so that it always looks dark from the outside. However, I'm concerned the sun will bleach out the color over time and it will look bad.

Thoughts and suggestions much appreciated!!

I suppose you could paint the framing a dark color to make it less visable or hang a curtain......... or you could turn your chair around
