wall over adobe brick

I am installing new 2x4 framed walls over adobe brick. The interior blocks have no coating. I plan to use R-13 batting and finish with 1/2" moisture resistant drywall. should I use tar paper on the back of my framing to serve as a moisture/vapor barrier? Or. any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Please help

anybody who has a suggestion or some response would be appreciated. I have my house completely torn apart and would like to finish this project. My hold at this point is what to do about the moisture issue with the adobe brick. It really attracks the termites which is what led to this project. Again, thanks for whatever help you can offer. Locals are basically ask 5, get 5 different answers. PLEASE HELP!
