Sub Floor sealing

Hello,

I am getting ready to put new subfloor underneath where bathtub will go. I know I will have gaps. What is good material to use to fill gaps?

Thx for help!

Why is it going to have gaps?

Pulpo,

I kind of messed up a little when I was using a circular saw, but regardless some people say to leave a slight gap for expansion. This is subfloor just below tub that i needed to cut out. But even if the cut is exact as can be, wouldn't you still need to seal if its in this area?

thx

I think Pulpo was thinking as I was about vertical gaps. Everyone makes bad cuts. What will be your final flooring? That will determine what you have to do to rectify the cracks. Let us know.
