Subfloor warping

Can someone please tell me why our subfloor warps, especially in one area of our home. We are in the process of replacing a section again. It looks like it's been wet & even smells musty, but no leaks under house and no leaks inside. Could it be the Mississippi humidity? Please help us resolve this mystery. Thanks!!

Welcome to the forums! "wet and smells musty", that's why. Now, you need to find out why it gets wet. Are you over a crawlspace or basement? Humidity will have a lot to do with it, but we need more information to help. How big an area is it? Does the patch span over at least 3 floor joists? Is the moisture on the top or bottom of the removed board?
