sagging floor
I know this has been beat to death but I have a different situation that I havent seen addressed.
I have a 3 bdr 2 bath home. 2 1/2 story. garage, main floor and second floor. The garage has a concrete floor and its between 8 - 10 feet to the floor joists.
the house is sagging on the floor joist of the house. What would you recommend in this situation? Thought about calling Olshan to check it out. Normal jacks dont go this high.

You can use 10 ft 2x4s screwed together on top of a floor jack to make the height. Use 2 sets of them with a cross piece & 2 jacks if you have to span a few joists.

I'm very handy with household things. Finished rooms, installed hvac, door , etc. I know that you have to go very slow on this then sister up the joists.
Do you know how much a company (olshan) might charge to fix somthing like this?
Thanks

No way for us to know. If you plan on having a contractor do it, you'd have to call them in for an estimate. Get more than one, however, just to keep things honest.
