Moving staircase...

My dad and I have finished the basement a little over a year or two ago and the staircases are all one on top of the other, leading from the basement to the attic giving access to all four floors. My dad noticed this evening that part of the wall on the staircase connecting the second and third floors of the house has only marginally separated from where it was originally built, kind of like it shifted or something. What can be done to correct this and should we be worried?

Basement drain in the way

Am finishing basement and am having issues with drain location. I cannot afford to move drain. The center of drain is 42" from wall. Base cabniets are 36". This will put drain underfoot while doing dishes etc. The slope/grade (not sure of the term to use here) of the drain is aprox 4". When I install my base cabinets there will be a significant gap under the toe kick and floor. Am getting ready to float/level the floor and am not sure how much (if any) I can eliminate. Would like to get rid of 90%+ of the slope. Here are some pictures I have taken to give better idea of what I am talking about. Using 2x6's for supporting post on LVL Beam.

I have a 19' span, and using three, 1 3/4"x11 1/4" LVL's for the distance. Would building up 2x6's be sufficient to use for the supporting posts? I will have 2 posts, in-between the 19' span, and was going to use four 2x6's nailed together to create the support posts. Thanks in advance!
