Partition wall ACROSS a cathedral ceiling.

Well....maybe not so much a partition, but......

Am looking to add a pantry closet in a kitchen. The conundrum is top plating ACROSS the slope of the cathedral ceiling. Cant attach plates along the 4 inch edge, as the 2 inch edge is then not true or plumb, hence no nailing edge for drywall. Make any sense?

Will try to attach a drawing of what I mean if that helps. Meanwhile, anyone done this and have a good way to proceed??
Thanks in advance for any help...

I understand there are problems when working with sloped ceilings, but they all slope differently. Maybe you could post a couple of pictures of the proposed area so we can see what you see. There's a way.
