Uneven support on I beam? Should I be concerned?

My unfinished basement has a steel I beam with three supports going down into the concrete. The supports look like they screw up to meet the beam where they make contact with a metal plate.
One of the supports does not have said plate and just contacts the I beam directly. It is also slightly off center (quarter inch on a 4" wide beam).

It's presumably been this way for as long as the house has been standing (40+ years). Since I'm looking to finish my basement if this is something I should fix the time to do it is now.

Is this something I should be worried about? If so how much could I expect to pay someone to correct the support. I imagine jacking up the main support of the house is something I couldn't/shouldn't attempt.
