sub floor triple 2x6 or 2x8

i plan on re framing my kitchen subfloor it is way out of level and a inch higher than the other 2 floors. anyway my dilemma

right now there are triple 2x6 less than a 12ft span spaces 24" on center
im wondering if i should keep that or should i reframe it use a single 2x8 and do 16" on center.

it would certainly be cheaper to leave it the way it is and level it up. but i want to do it right if im ripping up the floor. the rest of the house is triple 2x6 24" on center and seem to be fine.

I wouldn't remove & replace all the joists. That's too much work. Can do two of them to drop the floor where it meets the others. There might be a slight slope but I think that it would be unnoticeable.
