Fill gap between subfloor and wall

Im working on a bathroom and removing the laminate flooring to put in vinyl. When i took the planks out i noticed that the subfloor had a large gap. What had happened is they placed a second sheet of plywood over the original subfloot but failed to fit that sheet to the wall. I have about a 3/4" gap that I want to fill and dont know what the best scenario would be. If I just put the vinyl, it will sonk and the baseboards wont cover that gap.

Pull out and replace.

Rip a slightly smaller piece and glue.

Double up one baseboard.

Agree, you probably need something to keep it level.

Usually a fresh piece of 1/4" underlayment grade ply is put down to give a super flat surface for the vinyl to sit on. This prevents the telescoping of imperfections through the vinyl to visible from the surface. In that case, fill the void with a cementatious patch before laying the ply.
