Framing in plaster wall?
I'm moving into a place where the walls are plaster, the kind with wood panels close together and plaster on top. Do these walls have framing like drywall or not? I'm wondering how to fish electrical wire through with no frame to drill holes.

Stud > lath > plaster = stud space on interior walls. A true brick house may not have studs on exterior walls so no space. A wood frame house will on exterior walls. Just use a 3/16" masonry drill to make holes in an inconspicuous place then insert a stiff wire to see how deep and if it will wiggle around.
