Leveling Basement Floor

Planning on putting peel and stick vinyl planks down over existing tile floor (super 80s red and black tiles), most of the basement floor is fine, but some spots it is not 100% level or there are some small divots in the tile. Would using premixed flexible patch and leveler on those areas of the tiles work? My main concern would be adhesion of the new vinyl planks.

Peel and stick in my opinion will not stick well to cement based patch material. Look into other patch materials. Have only worked with acrylic patch once, work fast as the product sets up rather quickly.

Peel and stick is not likely to give you results you will like, as Z stated. At a minimum, I would be looking at thicker tiles which require a separate adhesive.
