Framing a 1200sqft workshop on slab

Does anyone have any suggestions requarding literature on basic framing for a DIYer like myself. Im eventually going to build a very basic rectangle 1200sqft workshop on a slab

Go to YouTube and search sheds, there are series of videos that show every construction step needed!

How high is the edge of the slab off of the ground? Often it's a good idea to lay one course of block so the wood framing/siding is up further. That helps prevent the rot that often happens when wood is too close to the grade.

You can also visit your library or home center. They have "how to" books with lots of pictures and illustrations to explain the steps.
