Welcome to the forums Jamie!
Is it just the hardwood that is buckling? can you check the subfloor and joists from underneath?
How old is the flooring? when did the buckling start?
If it's just the hardwood it's usually a moisture/humidity issue making the wood swell.

Welcome to the forum.
Going to take Marksr questions a bit further.
What type of flooring is the floor covering?
If it's laminate and newer, it's likely it was installed too tight to the walls which resulted in the boards expanding and causing the lift.
Wood in general, was the area lifting exposed to water prior to it starting to lift? If it's near a window, you may have some water leaking.
