sealing patio-wall intersection

My house is on a slab. A contractor poured a new patio slab with a proper slope but right up to (even with) the house slab, that is, without a step down. Now, I am faced with the problem of sealing the place where the house slab meets the patio slab - the house wall-patio slab intersection. I am afraid that, in principle, a wind-driven rain can get underneath the sill plate of the wall framing. What can I do to prevent this after the fact? Thank you.

That's brilliant. About all you can do is put a wall flashing on the house, and set it in a healthy bead of concrete sealant such as NP1 or Loctite S10. A similar method involves cutting a kerf in the concrete then install a z flashing set into sealant in the same manner.
