Best paper for flooring protection?
Wasn't really sure where to post this, but can someone help me (a specific link would be great) find the thickest/strongest roll of paper floor protection?
At 36 mil, this is the best I can find so far: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Ram-Board-P...loth/999909879
Thank you.

Pretty much from anything/everything. We need to protect a new vinyl plank floor from some construction in another room. The workers will not only be walking across it, but also possibly dragging/dropping equipment/materials...

How long is the distance between the workspace and the door?
Why isn't the contractor including floor protection in the job?
I've been a realtor for decades, here are some of the better ideas I've seen-
If it's a newer house with tilt-in windows, you can usually pop the lower window out of the window frame completely protect the frame with an area rug, and put a chute in the window and a wheelbarrow outside.
For floor protection, I've seen strips of scrap carpeting laid upside down (soft pile down to protect the carpet) with thin plywood laid down overtop for rolling wheelbarrows.

Depends how far you want to take it, some paper like that with some 2' plywood strips would be probably the most protection, then the strips could be used for some other project!

I use rosin paper sold by my local Sherwin Williams store. It's a heavy duty paper so it's good for protecting floors and it's thick enough not to tear when rolling scaffolding or sliding 5 gallon buckets of paint on it. And it's rosin impregnated so it's water resistant so paint spills don't seep through.
