Removing load bearing wall, clipping lvl, exterior wall support

I’d like to remove the load bearing wall between my kitchen and living room. I’d like a flush beam run to an exterior wall. I have 2 questions.
Can you cut an angle in the top corner of a lvl beam to ride the roof line? My roof is not steep at all and I don’t think there would be room (between ceiling and roof sheathing) for a 12”+ beam.
Would going to exterior wall even be possible? It’s a bilevel house. The exterior wall in question is cantilevered(sp?) It is in the front of the house and overhangs the lower exterior wall. Does that make moving the load to that wall out of the question?
thanks

Your asking questions on a forum for something that is very technical, this is the time to utilize the services of an architect or structural engineer so that you get the correct answers.
