Self leveling compound on sanded ply

I am wondering if leveling compound will stick to sanded ply. I know to use the primer but the ply is like glass.
thanks.

If you have sanded plywood on the floor, my guess is that it's 1/4" underlayment and you probably shouldn't be going over it with something wet, as it might swell up. So if it's 1/4" you might remove it first. Or take a chance that the primer will seal it well enough. The primer helps with adhesion but is no guarantee the SL won't chip or flake later.

No, it’s 1/2” AC. (Because I’m a little extra)
