re-framing around existing window in bath

Ripped tile off cinder block/brick wall in bathroom to install iso foam board insulation, and am planning to frame over that with 2x3's. Window is installed in cinder block, with brick exterior. What is the best way to frame around the window, since it's already installed/supported in the wall?

You really aren't "framing" in the window since it's already installed. It's more like trim work. You will need framing around the window to support your trim molding as needed depending on the thickness of the wall and how far you have to build out because of your new, thicker wall.
