Repairing vibrator in lazy boy recliner

Not sure where to post this, have a Lazy Boy recliner with vibrator, vibrator quit working. Assuming it is electrical. Any advice? jps

The most common type of vibrator is a motor with an eccentric weight mounted to the shaft. As it spins it creates a vibration. Since it is a mechanical part it could have an issue.

You should check the wire any where it gets bent sharply.......especially if it has one of those wired remote control units. It may take a volt/ohm meter to find the problem.

Start by tracing the power cord from the wall to the splice/control box area.
