Does anyone know how to tighten the leg on this chair?

I can twist it to tighten, but when it's tight enough, the leg is not straight.

Is there a bolt somewhere?

May have to put a washer between leg and chair. If to thick than cut some cardboard ones. Use something like a cereal box.

I've screwed the legs on as far as they will go and still be in the correct position. Then I coated some shims with wood glue and tapped them in on both sides of the leg where it meets the chair frame to get it nice and snug. After the glue dries cut off the excess shim.

Ehhh .... I guess it HALF worked. It's tight enough, but the leg still turns. Wondering if adding some Gorilla glue may be a good idea from stopping the legs turning?

You want something as large as possible, possibly square to match the shape of the leg. Once you find the right thickness then remove the leg and fasten the spacer to the chair. Then some glue wouldn't hurt when you screw the leg back on.

It's also likely that whatever kind of nut they used in the couch has slipped it's moorings. Gouged out the wood inside or partially stripped the hole. Depends on the fastener used.

If it's tight enough then why not put it how you want it and leave it the heck alone? It's not like couches get moved all the time.

It's not a couch, it's a recliner and it DOES get moved when people sit in it and stuff. The right leg seems to always make it's way inward. I'm going to glue it, I think it'll work.
