Painting Ethan Allen cabinet/table
#1
I sanded, tack clothed, and painted with Zar Antique White, a piece of furniture using a polyester brush recommended by the paint store. EVERY BRUSH STROKE SHOWS. IT IS UGLY! I hope this can serve as a primer and I can "fix" it. I would like a smooth white finish using a water based product.

Arline:
Go to Walmart or a similar store and buy several foam 'throw-away' brushes in a size convenient for you to use.
Sand out the brush strokes from your previous effort, and apply a new coat with the foam brushes. They really make a difference in smoothness and lack of brush marks.
