Glue on hardwood floors?
How do I clean glue from linoleum off of hardwood floors? We just moved and they old owners put linoleum over their beautiful hardwood floors. Now we are having a hard time getting rid of the glue! Any suggestions?

I used a heat gun and small scraper, very tedious, but it worked, then used a wood scraper with a carbide blade, before we started sanding. Good luck, it took more hours than I could count, but the floor is now done, and it looks beautiful. Worth every minute of the labor. I was leery of using chemicals on the floor, so I opted for the elbow grease method.
