Smile to refinish myself or not

I have an old set of "pretzel bamboo " furniture. It's in good condition but it's painted a hunter green color. What would be the procedure to return it to it's natural color? Do you think all the green would come off with sanding and striping? Do you think I should get it done professionally? Who would do it? Furniture Refinisher? So many questions. Thanks for your advice and help.

As a refinisher with some years (30+) experience I would strongly suggest finding a firm that dips it's furniture to strip it or uses a "flow-over" system.

Stripping this type of furniture is tedious at best, and nearly impossible to get clean by hand.
