Hi

My son put a hot pizza down on our antique pine harvest table, it is now stained white. Please help me George!

Traumatic, but not life-threatening!!

Make a paste of baking soda and water and rub the discolored surface using this mixture with a damp rag.

Follow with Turtle Wax Polishing Compound and Scratch Remover (1 product) to restore the sheen. Use the Turtle wax over the entire top for uniformity.

Then give your teenager the Turtle Wax and tell him/her all will be forgiven after they finish the car!!!

does this work for teak wood too?

Found this reply from 2000 while searching for a remedy to my similar problem except it was on a teak dining table. Will your suggestion work on teak?
