Painted and glazed cabinets - glaze is wiping off with paper towel and water

I painted my kitchen cabinets with Sherwin Williams Adhesion Primer Interior - Exterior Latex, Sherwin Williams ProClassic Interior Acrylic Latex, Sherwin willaams illusions Latex Based Faux Finish Glazin Liquid clear tent added.

I let them dry days; they looked great; put them back up .

Problem is the Glaze is wiping off -- I just was wiping the drawer facing with a wet paper towel and the glaze wiped off; I tested another hidden spot on the edge of a drawer and the glaze wipped off.

Anyone know what step I missed and what I need to do?

Thanks, Millie

you forgot to finish it. You need a t least one, preferably two coats of a clear acrylic urethane as a final coat..

Thank you for resonding!
I'd rather still need a step than to have done it wrong.

Is the clear acrylic urethane applied with a brush or spray?

ideally spray it. it will have a nicer finish. And if the glaze is coming off with a paper towel, then it may come off if you brush the finish over teh top of it as well.
