What is this corner hardware for a bookcase called?

Hello All,
What is this corner piece, common on wood+metal bookcases, called? See picture- it holds the metal of the bookcase together at right angles in 3 dimensions, and is decoratively shaped.

Can you tell me where to get something like it too? My searches for "corner bracket" are too vague to be helpful.

It involves metal but I chose this forum category anyway because of it's focus on furniture, so thanks for any help!

Good luck finding something exactly the same. The only thing I can find that is remotely close to that is a Simpson Strong tie connector called a RTC22 or RTC24.

@xsleeper, thanks for the suggestion!

If anyone knows of something more of a vintage style, that'd be a great help.

If you just need a few...a sheetmetal fabricator could probably whip them up in an hour.

Draw one out to scale on some cardboard stock take it to a few places, see what they say.

If it's a real complicated pattern, they'd probably have to cut them out using a plasma cutter or waterjet...which would be more expensive.
