tabletop calculation 10" radius circle

How many 3/4" x5"x48" lumber does it take to create a tabletop with a 55" radius?

which is it... 10" radius or 55" radius? (20" diameter or 110" diameter)

...because you mention both figures.

And is the lumber exactly 5" wide?

Formula

3.1417 x 55 x 55 = 9504 sq in table top

48 x 5 = 240 sq in per board

9504 / 240 = 40 boards

This makes no allowance for waste.
