Identify Wood

Can someone identify the species used in this photo? The dark plywood and the yellow-ish trim around the edges:

I'd say the trim is oak, possibly white oak judging by the very pronounced graining and light color. The paneling/plywood is harder for me to tell. Mahogany veneered plywood was common back in the day but that could be a stained birch veneer.

Looking at the grain, the yellow trim looks like oak that has been colored yellow with aniline dye.

The sides I am not sure, maybe Mahogany? Maybe birch that has also has been colored/stained. It appears the inside is birch. (click on photo for more pictures)

I can certainly agree with oak on the trim but I'm struggling on the sides.

Me too. Any special reason you are wanting to know?

Hard to tell for sure. I doubt birch and think mahogany. I also think the trim could be ash. Both appear to be treated with stain or toned.
