Refinishing white furniture
#1

Help! I have white kids' furniture that has yellowed over time. What kind of paint do I need to use on this? The finish appears to have been factory spray painted and is a shiny white!
Thanks for your help!

It's a lacquer finish that has yellowed with age - usually not noticable on wood furniture, but it really shows up against solid colors.
It can be painted.
Sand thoroughly - scuffing the entire piece.
Apply two coats of a good primer (BIN or KILZ) sanding smooth after each coat has dried.
Apply the paint of your choice - Acrylic latex gives me good results.
