duo fast nail gun

hi hows things people i was wondering if anyone has any experience with a CN-350 i recently bought one at a garage sale for building a deck and am having trouble working out how to change the depth adjustment im not sure if this is easy or what i am looking for and i dont want to just start undoing and adjusting things. any help
or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated..

I don't know anything about that particular gun but generally you adjust the air pressure to set the depth.

Manual (attached) says that you turn the thumb screw on the shaft of the nailer. You also want to have around 120 psi for optimal performance. The further down the shaft collar of the nailer extends the higher the nail head. Conversly, the shorter the shaft collar extends, the further down the nail will sink.

Sure hope your not nailing decking with this.
Should be using ceramic coated or SS screws.
Nails are going to come loose.

I agree that screws are a LOT better but nails do an adequate job. I have 2 porches, decked with sawmill lumber along with PT steps and handrails that are nailed. They were built about 20 yrs ago and and while I have had to drive a few nails here and there back in when it's time to recoat the wood, it's not really been an issue.
